The process of choosing a diamond engagement ring can sometimes get a little crazy. I say this because that’s how this story starts. I fell in love and I wanted a ring as awesome as her. So I started looking. But this guy has diamond rings for sale and that guy has diamond rings for sale and they all are selling the same designs manufactured in China. In the end, I designed her diamond engagement ring myself. When I proposed, she said “DUH!” before I even finished the question.

People freaked. The orders for custom engagement rings poured in. And so, without intending to start a jewelry business, make Her Say DUH was born. Located in Beverly Hills, California, make her say DUH helps you fully design your own engagement ring. We also moved on to design a ready to wear collection based on inspiration from art deco engagement rings and vintage engagement rings.

First, we discuss your vision and look through inspiration images. Once everything is crystal clear, we make a model of the design. The model will either be 3D render that will be printed out or a hand carved wax of the ring. Either way, during this design process of making the model, you can make infinite revisions until the piece is exactly as you want it. This ensures you will be 100% satisfied with the final piece.

Once you give us a go ahead on the model, we cast it in the metal of your choice and set the stones. You can see more about our custom design process here.
